Leading mobile phone manufacturer, Samsung has announced the introduction of a system to replace mobile devices for customers should they be damaged.
The Samsung Premium or Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) will give users of the famous Galaxy Note 3 devices an opportunity to get a new device should it be damaged.
ADH, which is a 24-month warranty for the Note 3, comes in three folds namely, Samsung Smart Swap, Smart Pick-Up, and Smart Value.
Samsung earlier this year, during the launch of its Galaxy S4 device, offered a 24-month accidental damage repair to it customers.
George Ferreira, Vice President and COO of Samsung Electronics Africa, speaking at the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 World Tour Africa in Cape Town, South Africa said the sytem, which is the first of its kind, is carefuly planned to enable consumers enjoy the Galaxy device.
"You will be able to get another one in what we call the instant swap or replacement of the damaged device for another Galaxy Note to the same condition that you have given in right there and then," he disclosed.
He further explained that under the Smart Pick-up system, Samsung will send a replaced Note 3 device right to the doorstep of the customer without any hustle within 24 hours.
"Smart Value provides new Galaxy Note 3 device owners with a guaranteed future buybacks for devices within the first 12 months and don't worry your ADH Premium balance will carry with your Samsung smart phone."
This means that if none of the ADH incidents has been used, they will be automatically moved to the new device's warranty.
Samsung, he added, has introduced a 24-hour VIP Call Centres to provide non-stop assistance to customers.
