A private security man in Takoradi, Freeman Nuzeh, 38, was on Wednesday remanded by a Circuit Court ‘B’ in Takoradi for incest.
Nuzeh, who pleaded guilty, would re-appear on April 19 for conviction.
Police Inspector Veronica Tibson, told the court that the accused invited the victim, his 23-year-old niece, Grace Aguadze, a Senior High School graduate and resident of Adidome in the South Tongu District, to Takoradi with the intention of providing her a job.
The prosecution said in January last year, the accused secured a job for Aguadze as a sales girl at Pink Lady Enterprise. However, in July last year, when Nuzeh divorced his wife, he took advantage of the situation and had sexual intercourse with Aguadze.
The prosecution said Aguadze reported the matter to her brother, Patrick Aguadze, who in turn informed their father at Amantin in the Mpohor Wassa District, Western region.
Inspector Tibson said on April 8 this year when the family met to settle the matter at Beposo near Takoradi, the accused was arrested and handed over to the police.
