A Ho circuit court presided over by Mr Emmanuel Siammeh on Friday sentenced Mawuli Agorbu, a farmer at Takpa near Kpetoe in the Adaklu Anyigbe District, to 12 months imprisonment for stealing. He pleaded guilty to stealing and attempting to sell a stolen sheep. Mr Emmanuel Okudzeto, Chief Inspector of Police, told the court that Agorbu stole a female sheep worth GH¢20 on February 15 belonging to one Aku Dzanta at Dakpa and took it to Ziope. He said Doh Amanda, a bar Keeper who Agorbu attempted selling the sheep to, became suspicious and questioned Agorbu in the course of which he (Agorbu) fled.
