Stanbic Bank Limited, which started with only three branches three years ago has 25 branches across the country.
The move is to bring banking services to the doorsteps of customers to enable them have access to financial assistance to help them improve on their businesses.
Mr Mawuko Afadzinu, Head of Marketing and Public Affairs of Stanbic Bank Limited, announced this at a Soiree organised by the Bank for media practitioners in Kumasi on Wednesday.
He said the bank has introduced some new products including Bonus Investment, Contract Savings ”Woba Nti and Okyena Nti Accounts “aimed at supporting businessmen with capital to boost their work.
Mr Afadzinu stated that it was the policy of the bank to work with all business community and asked them to patronize the services of the bank.
He commended the media for their assistance to project the activities of the bank to the understanding of the people and urged them to continue with that same zeal to help enhance the work of the bank.
Mr Seini Kitaali, Manager of the Adum branch of the Bank, said it was the desire of the bank to grant loans to workers and others to help them invest in their ventures.
He therefore asked them to open an account with the bank to help them obtain loans.
Nana Yaw Osei, Acting Chairman of the Ashanti Regional branch of the Ghana Journalists Association, hoped that the relationship and co-operation between the Association and the bank would be strengthened at all times.
