The Black Stars will line up against Malawi on Tuesday night in an international friendly after finally putting a bonus row that had threatened the game behind them.
The players have made the short journey by road to Nelspruit for their only friendly game before the Nations Cup but only after officials and players of the side held long drawn out meetings at their Greenway Woods Resort over appearance fees for the game which is taking place in Masina, Swaziland.
While Ghana Football Association officials insist there are no financial perks attached to the match deal and that they desperately need the game in order to fine tune preparations, the players insisted on being paid 5,000 dollars each in appearance fees before taking to the field.
On the eve of their departure for Swaziland, long planed for Tuesday, the players, coach Milovan Rajevac and Ghana Football Association executive members Randy Abbey and Awuah Nyamekye spent up to two hours after dinner before the issue was resolved.
One player told KickOffGhana.com they had insisted on the payment of appearance fee in order to make a point to officials of the football association.
