Asante Kotoko defender Rashid Sumaila has been dropped from the final Ghana squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations,Asempa Sports can exclusively reveal.
Black Stars Coach Kwesi Appiah has announced his final 23-man squad for the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
The coach finalized his squad on Wednesday for this month's finals by having to leave out Asante Kotoko defender Rashid Sumaila from his preliminary squad of 24.
Ghana's squad is made up of 10 debutants.
Richard Kissi Boateng, Awal Mohammed, Jerry Akaminko, Wakasu Mubarak, Rabiu Mohammed, Solomon Asante, Albert Adomah, Christian Atsu, Richmond Boakye Yiadom and Emmanuel Clottey will all be making their first appearance at the Nations Cup.
