The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cadling Fashions, one of Ghana’s most accomplished fashion houses Mrs Linda Ampah, has encouraged Ghanaian youth with passion for fashion and designing, to consider venturing into other aspects of the fashion industry value chain such as cutting, stitching and finishing to benefit from the job opportunities available in that sector.
She said there is a large market for these services and very few companies are meeting the need.
Ms. Ampah made the call during the official opening of Cadling Fashion’s outlet at East Legon in Accra.
It is the latest of the fashion house’s shops which offer a wide selection of unique outfits made with the finest African prints that satisfy both the sophisticated and modest woman’s taste.
Since its inception in 1996, Cadling Fashions has been designing custom-made clothes for Ghanaians. One of the masterpieces of the fashion brand was worn by former United States’ First Lady, Michelle Obama when she visited South Africa.
According to Mrs. Ampah “due to the high demand for services such as cutting, stitching and finishing, anyone one who provides these services will be in good business”.
She applauded Ghanaians for believing in and patronising clothes made in Ghana. “Our acceptance of these locally-inspired textiles has led to a boom in our fashion industry and opened up the industry for more people to find employment in various aspects of the industry”, Mrs. Ampah said.
The CEO of Cadling Fashion who is also the creative mind of the company and the longest-serving judge on the hit TV REALITY SHOW “Ghana’s Most Beautiful”, said, “I am excited about the opportunity to open another outlet to serve as a sources of employment for the amazing women we work with as well as provide affordable and high-quality products for all”.
The shop has in store an extensive variety of clothing ranging from dresses, skirts, rompers, accessories, and bags of the highest quality.
