The Coalition of Concerned Teachers has demanded an apology from Mr. George Smith Graham Chief Executive Officer of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission for his comments that teachers are living well under the Mills’ administration. The group said anything short of their demand will result in a return to an indefinite strike, promising that even government will never recover from it. Mr. Graham reportedly said at a gathering of teachers in Ho recently, that teachers were living well under the Mills’ administration. Meanwhile, Vice President for NAGRAT, Mr Angel Carbonu has also asked Mr. Graham to provide evidence to that effect, instead of making such “sweeping statement”. Spokesperson for the Concerned Teachers Norbert Gbogbotsi said they are waiting for the apology or they will be forced to embark on a second strike. They are also threatening to sue the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), blaming its executives for the cause of divisions within the association.
