Organizers of the Ghana Telecom Awards say the methodology for the awards has been enhanced for the best results in this year’s edition.
The annual event recognizes the achievements of companies in Ghana's Telecom and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector.
The Awards which is the 2nd edition is slated for this Friday.
Tony Burkson, Associate Editor for Mobile World Magazine - organizers of the award, told Joy Business that the appropriate procedures would be followed to ensure deserving orgainsations are awarded.
There will be 17 competitive awards in all. One category of interest is the Telcos CEO of the year which has the Cheif Executive Officers of Vodafon, MTN and Airtel as this year’s nominees.
Mr Burkson adds the event should lead to better performance by telecom companies.
