Teshie Town Eleven spanked their Osu counterparts 3-0 to win this year's "Nii Armah Ashitey Homowo" Challenge Soccer match played at the Osu Salem School Park in Accra on Saturday.
The match, sponsored by Nii Armah Ashitey, former Tema Municipal Chief Executive saw the two teams putting up good performance in the opening stages as they piled pressure on each other in a bid to snatch the leader but none could find the net to end the first half goalless.
On resumption of the second half, the Teshie team redoubled their efforts and snatched the opener in the 55th minute through Agyemang Prempeh whose terrific shot out side the box beat Osu's goalkeeper Kpakpo Alottey.
Paa Dan made it two for Teshie in the 65th minute after weaving his way through a forest of legs with Moses Anum sealing the doom of the Osu Boys when he netted the third goal three minutes to full time.
The match which was organized by the Osu Youth Association formed part of activities marking the celebration of this year's Homowo Festival of the Chiefs and people of Osu Traditional Area of the Greater Accra Region.
