Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder Francis Akwaffo says Ghana should not feel intimidated by the deteriorating security concerns in Egypt.
Fifa decided on Wednesday that Cairo will host the Ghana’s return leg World qualifier against Egypt.
But the Libyan side Al Nasr Benghazi winger has insisted that the country is safe and Ghana should harbour no fear ahead of the 19 November decider.
“Ghana fans should not fear the Cairo venue. If you protect yourself well in Egypt, nothing will happen to you,” Akwaffo told Asempa FM Sports Night.
“I will urge Ghana fans to troop to Egypt to support the Black Stars because there will be an intensified security for the game.”
