Ghana could take a go at Cape Verde at full strength when both clash at the last eight of the Africa Cup of Nations billed for Port Elizabeth on Saturday.
The Stars quest of winning a fifth Nations Cup that spans three decades have been boosted by positive news on injured trio; Anthony Annan, Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and Mubarak Wakaso.
Information pieced together by GNA Sports indicate that while Boakye-Yiadom and Wakaso are close to 100-per cent fitness, Annan could get a clean health bill less than 24 hours after the Stars spank Niger 3-0 to move their campaign to gear.
The three players are expected to join their colleagues at training for the first time in as many days.
Wakaso's return means he might be thrown a starting role on Saturday having missed out on the game against Niger due to card accumulation.
Forward Boakye- Yiadom who is yet to have a taste of the tournament as a debutant will give Coach Kwasi Appiah another option in attack where the team has thus far solely depended on Asamoah Gyan.
The decision on Annan should be determined in the next few days whether he will be able to join the party after playing only 17 minutes in the Stars's opener with Democratic Republic of Congo.
The midfielder has laboured to shake-off an injury he picked up during Ghana's build up to the tournament in Abu Dhabi when the team engaged Egypt in a friendly.
Wakaso, substituted in the second Group B game against Mali where his first half penalty gifted Ghana all three points limped off in the second half after a knock.
