Authorities in California say a pair of 73-year-old twin sisters who were found dead in their home appear to have died of natural causes within a short time of each other.
El Dorado County Sheriff's officials say they have ruled out foul play in the deaths of Patricia and Joan Miller, who were found Feb. 26 at their home in South Lake Tahoe.
Detectives trying to find their family say the sisters were entertainers in the Bay Area and appeared on a television show in the 1950s called "The Hoffman Hayride." The twins also entertained troops at military bases.
Friends tell deputies that the sisters never married and were dependent on each other throughout their lives.
Authorities believe they may have family near Portland, Ore., where they were originally from.
