UNILEVER Ghana has appointed Maidie Elizabeth Arkutu as its new Managing Director with effect from May 01.She was the Brand Building Director for Unilever West Africa and a Board Member of the company before her current appointment.Madam Arkutu is a Ghanaian and takes over from David Mureithi who is taking up a top job with an oil and gas firm in Kenya.She is a professional marketer with vast experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods Industry across several African countries.She has 17 years experience with Unilever Ghana, South Africa and French West Africa. She also worked with Coca-Cola where she held several managerial positions all over Africa.
