The Union Social Club of sports loving male professionals will organize a 100 meter event on Saturday 11th January, 2014 at the Legon Union Park near Ajax Park.
The event which will begin at 8:00 am will see contenders like Samuel Kwamina Eghan of Standard Chartered Bank and Akwasi Agyemang, Chief Executive Officer of Global Media Alliance.
The Association, made up of Lawyers, Doctors, Media men, Bankers, Lecturers and Footballers are organizing this event as part of their activities to ensure maximum fitness of their members.
Some notable members of the Union include, Lawyer Prosper Harrison Addo, Kojo Addai Mensah of Ghana Commercial Bank, Dr David Percy of Black Stars, Former Black Stars captain CK Akunnor, Lawyer Ace Ankomah and Lawyer Gabby Otchere Darko, formerly of Dankwa Institute.
Others include Stephen Quayenortey, who is the Chairman of the Union, Anthony Akwea-Mensah, organiser, Philip Ayensu of Multiple Concepts/Charter House and Tetteh Sex
