Unique Trust Financial Services on Saturday organized a health walk in the Kumasi Metropolis as part of activities to mark its
10 years of existence in the country.
The walk involved over 600 youth including, clients, staff of the company from its branches, Keep Fit Clubs and other social groups in the Metropolis.
It also engaged the services of medical doctors from Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) and Medical students from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KATH) to offer free health screening for the public.
Speaking to newsmen during the exercise, Mr Moses Agyemang Ashanti Regional Manager of the Company said management was committed to its operations and social commitments.
He said the exercise was part of the company’s social responsibilities and also to sensitize its clients and the public on the need to take good care of their health so that they could work hard and earn money to improve on their living standards.
Mr Agyemang said the Company has been supporting the activities of many social groups in the country, especially associations of people with disabilities in the country.
Mr Vitus Ninfaakang, deputy Ashanti Regional Manager of the company said Management intended to venture outside Ghana to some countries in Africa, Europe and the United States by the year 2010.
Mrs Sophia Lissah, Corporate Affairs and Public Relations Manager said the Company operates in three main areas- loans, investment and business advisory.
She said the Company was in a good financial standing and urged their customers to keep faith with the company and expect good quality service delivery.
