Victory Bible Church International, a leading Charismatic, Pentecostal Church with its headquarters at Awoshie Junction in the Ablekuma North Constituency, has partnered with the Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly (ANMA) to fix the Awoshie Junction Road, which has hitherto been in a very deplorable state.
Motorists who use the Awoshie junction road, including members of Victory Bible Church International (Dominion Santuray), would attest that the portion of the road is a significant source of stress due to the heavy traffic they have to endure because of its poor condition.
In a statement issued by the Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly to confirm the collaboration, the ANMA said the assembly is pleased to partner with the church to undertake the vital project aimed at giving a phase lift to the Awoshie junction road to ease the traffic burden of the road, which serves a vast population in the Greater Accra Region.
“The Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly (ANMA) is proud to announce a powerful collaboration with Victory Bible Church International to undertake the much-needed rehabilitation of Awoshie Baah Yard Road, around the traffic light.
“This public-private partnership exemplifies our shared commitment to the people of Ablekuma North. The project will focus on comprehensive repairs, including asphalt overlays, drainage improvements, and road markings, to alleviate the long-standing challenges of dust, flooding, and traffic congestion faced by residents, motorists, and pedestrians,’ the statement read.
“We extend our profound gratitude to the leadership and congregation of Victory Bible Church for their exemplary corporate social responsibility and partnership in this transformative initiative.
"Together, we are not just fixing a road; we are paving the way for safer, smoother, and more prosperous journeys for all. Let’s continue building a better, more resilient Ablekuma North together,” the ANMA statement further read.
