In Ghana, engineering used to be one of the no-go areas for many girls. Gender-based stereotypes mean many females shy away from the technical or call it the engineering field.
As the world marks International Women's Day this year to promote gender parity, Joy News' Justice Baidoo was in the Brong Ahafo regional town of Bechem where he met ladies braving the storm to study welding and fabrication.
Sitting in a male-dominated class, they share their experiences and their novel innovation in building a fufu pounding machine.
