The Inspector General of Police John Kudalor says the police have a challenge dealing with motorcyclists while they are on the road.

Speaking on Joy FM's Super Morning Show Wednesday, cameras will soon be installed at intersections to deal with 'Okada' riders whose wanton disregard for traffic regulations has become a metropolitan menace.

"Traffic police are sometimes helpless because they are torn between abandoning directing traffic and chasing the traffic offender and allowing the offenders to go whilst they stay and maintain sanity on the roads," he said.

Watch video below as he also reveals how the police plan to disband vigilante groups by the end of February.
