Two nurses of the Ridge Hospital in Accra who died in the June 3 flood and fire disasters were laid to rest amidst a massive outpouring of grief from their colleagues, relatives and sympathizers.
The two colleagues, one who had put others before self by braving the heavy rains and the other returning home from work were both held up at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle where it is believed they met their untimely deaths.
Their families, at the funeral ceremony at the Ridge Hospital, were hopeful their deaths will not be in vain. Hannah Odame joined them for JoyNews.
