A campaign for motorable roads has begun in the Volta region with a two-week ultimatum to government to find contractors to three deplorable roads there.
The group led by conveners, Dr Alphonse Dzakpasu and Andrews Adugu Esq. want to see work on the Juapong to Ho, Asikuma to Jasikan and Ho to Aflao roads by September 15, 2019.
Charging ‘enough is enough” the group described as non-partisan expressed frustration at failed promises of the Mahama and Akufo-Addo governments to fix roads in the Volta region.
The group said it petitioned the president Tuesday and have warned they are a “highly motivated” campaigners who are ready “to embark on massive and series of lawful demonstrations across the country and even beyond.”
