Aduana Stars’ hopes of returning to the summit of Ghana Premier League were dashed after being held to a scoreless draw at home to Wa All Stars.
The game was played at a later day after Wa All Stars’ participation in the WAFU Cup.
Chances were few and far in the game as Enos Adepa’s league champions continued their impressive run on the road after picking another vital point against Tema Youth in Tema three days earlier.
The league champions were resolute in defence limiting the free scoring Dormaa side famed for having a lethal attack especially at home.
However, Yusuf Abubakar will have cause for concern after his side’s inability to win two of their last three matches after a decent opening to the league. A slump which has seen the 2010 league champions relinquish top spot.
League action continues this weekend with the top liner in Wa as Wa All Stars face Kotoko under the guidance of interim coach Godwin Ablordey.
