In a remarkable celebration of Ghanaian culture and promoting tourism, Wanderlust Ghana and the G10 consortium hosted an all-white yacht cruise party at the Dubai Harbour, bringing together Ghanaians from both Ghana and Dubai for a spectacular event.
This party, held on October 8, 2024, marks a significant milestone in Wanderlust Ghana's 30,000-kilometre journey across 33 countries.
The team, which made headlines for their successful road trip from Accra to London in 2023, continues to inspire and connect Ghanaians worldwide through their adventurous spirit.
The all-white yacht cruise was more than just a glamorous event; it provided Ghanaians with a unique opportunity to connect, celebrate, and promote the country’s culture in an international setting.
Attendees enjoyed thrilling experiences, including desert dune bashing the Ghanaian way, followed by the yacht cruise, where Ghanaians mingled and strengthened their connections.
The significance of this event extends beyond mere celebration—it represents a growing unity among the Ghanaian diaspora and an ongoing effort to promote tourism and cultural exchange.
The event, organized by the G10 Travel Companies, is part of a larger expedition that gives Ghanaians the chance to join Wanderlust Ghana during major stops in Dubai and South Africa.
The G10 consortium, made up of notable travel companies such as Travel Planners Ghana, Eves Travelcation, and Adbel Travels, aims to promote tourism while encouraging Ghanaians to explore the world and represent their country abroad.

After the Dubai yacht party, the next major stop for Wanderlust Ghana will be South Africa, where the team will host another exciting event in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority and G10.
During this stop, the Ghana Tourism Authority will simultaneously launch this year’s “December in GH” events in South Africa, showcasing Ghana’s rich culture and tourism opportunities.

The all-white yacht cruise also gave participants an exclusive opportunity to meet the Wanderlust Ghana team and join them on their journey. Many of the attendees expressed pride in being part of such a memorable event, with Mercy Akaliga, a G10 representative, highlighting the significance of Wanderlust Ghana's mission. “Wanderlust Ghana is doing a lot for the country, and their ‘Visit Ghana’ tagline is helping promote tourism.
By bringing interested Ghanaians to meet the team halfway, the aim is to motivate and support their efforts to attract more tourists to Ghana, which will ultimately benefit the economy,” she said.
For those unable to attend the Dubai event, the journey continues with more opportunities to connect. Wanderlust Ghana’s South Africa adventure, from November 7–14, 2024, will offer participants the chance to visit iconic sites like Soweto, Robben Island, and Table Mountain. For others, an alternative meet-up is planned in Benin, further expanding the network of Ghanaians supporting this inspiring journey.

This partnership between Wanderlust Ghana and the G10 Travel Companies not only promotes travel and adventure but also reinforces Ghana’s growing reputation as a premier tourism destination.
The G10 companies— made up of Travel Planners Ghana, Eves Travelcation, Adbel Travels, Carefront Travel and Tour, The Seed Travel Consult, Dodi Travel and Tours, Aspire Destinations, EDI Concepts International, Prestige Rock Travel and Tour Logistics Services, and iTrend Tours—are committed to making these experiences accessible and impactful, ensuring that Ghanaians across the globe can take part in this cultural exchange.

Wanderlust Ghana’s expedition continues to bridge borders and build a global community, proving that travel is not only an adventure but a tool for fostering connections and promoting Ghana to the world.
