Liberty Professionals midfielder, Daniel Yeboah, is hoping his impressive Black Stars debut should maintain him in Milovan Rajevac's squad for the remaining 2010 world cup qualifiers.
The 24-year-old was handed the Essien role in the match against Lesotho and he put up a par excellence performance that earned him the fans man-of-the-match award.
"This being my first time in the national team I have to make it simple for me to enjoy the game and this worked to perfection," Yeboah told Ghanasoccernet.com
"It was a nice game playing with the likes Sulley, John and the likes of Stephen, the captain who encouraged us so much. I think was a cool game there was no pressure on us.
"We were playing the game simple. It's break, pass and support and I think it's one of the best games."
Yeboah is expected to up his cap when he joins the Black Stars squad that have been invited for Wednesday?s friendly international against South Africa in Johannesburg.
