Over the past few weeks, the Youth Elevate Foundation, in partnership with the Virtual Career Office, the Ghana EdTech Alliance, Networking for Hope, and Young and Vibe concluded the 2025 edition of its High School Drive — an experience-driven program that brought personal development, mentorship, and career discovery to four of Ghana’s leading all-girls senior high schools.
From Krobo Girls Presbyterian SHS in the Eastern Region to Yaa Asantewaa Girls SHS in Kumasi, then to Mfantsiman Girls SHS in the Central Region, and finally St. Mary’s Girls SHS in Accra, the Drive combined learning with high energy. Each stop featured music, a live DJ, talent showcases, and engaging sessions designed to show students that learning can happen in vibrant, relevant spaces that reflect their world.
The initiative was led by three headline speakers. Kwame Nyatuame, a personal branding coach from the Ghana EdTech Alliance, shared insights on identity and presence in the digital age. Akua Ampah from the Virtual Career Office led sessions on career pathways, helping students explore futures that align with their ability, passion, and purpose. And Adelaide the Seer, the visually impaired singer and speaker, spoke on gifts and talents, drawing deep emotional connection across every hall.

Reflecting on the experience, Adelaide shared, “The impact is more than I imagined or expected. I am literally making an impact in the lives of young people through this program. I’m happy and blessed to be part of this and would surely love to be on board for subsequent editions.” Akua Ampah added, “These are real problems young people face every day being solved. With each session, question, and school stop, I feel even more fulfilled that I get to do this with the Youth Elevate Foundation.”
One of the most talked-about moments at every stop was the “Big Surprise” — a thrilling closing activity where hidden vouchers were placed beneath random seats. As students searched excitedly, the energy in the room erupted. Winners walked away with cash, school hampers, and branded souvenirs. It wasn’t just fun — it was unforgettable.
The Drive wasn’t about passive listening. It was an invitation to participate. Students danced, performed, and asked great questions. They weren’t just being spoken to — they were being included and empowered.
The Youth Elevate Foundation, known for its creative and practical approach to youth development, has consistently championed the mantra “Elevate. Empower. Solve.” Through storytelling, interactive coaching, and deeply relatable programming, it continues to help young people build confidence, purpose, and vision.
Supported by the Virtual Career Office (which helps young people find fulfilling career paths), the Ghana EdTech Alliance (which promotes digital innovation in learning), Networking for Hope (a nonprofit expanding access to education and healthcare) and Young and Vibe (one of Africa’s leading platforms for promoting both education and entertainment among young people) the High School Drive is a model of what intentional collaboration can achieve.

Looking ahead, the Foundation is set to grow the experience. Future editions will include health talks, STEM and digital skills sessions, medical screenings, and more ways to meet the diverse needs of today’s students. The Youth Elevate Foundation is open to partnerships with individuals, institutions, and brands committed to youth empowerment, gender inclusion, disability advocacy and the future of education in Africa.

The Foundation also extends an appreciation to all the heads and staff, as well as the SRC of these selected schools for their wonderful support, acceptance and belief in the vision. For the students who participated, this wasn’t just another school event. It was a moment — one that reminded them of their potential and left them walking away just a little more ready to own it.
