One hundred and fifty vulnerable people especially widows and visually impaired have received food support and cash for the families in Pusiga near Bawku.
The items included packaged rice and an undisclosed amount given to each beneficiary who came from different communities in the area.
The first batch of 75 beneficiaries received their packaged item in June, while the second batch received their food item on July 2, 2023.
Because the beneficiaries are currently in the lean season, home food supplies are often low at this time of year, exacerbating an already precarious position.

This assistance is believed to aid enhance their nutrition balance and promote a healthy lifestyle.

According to her, the vulnerable are at significant danger of poverty and social marginalization.

"It is therefore in this regard that the foundation has deemed it fit and proper to support in the form of rice and basic ingredients."
One of the recipients, Apuyang Hamadu, a widow and elderly woman, was overjoyed with the present. Her colleagues Alabilla Asuor, Nbora Zakaria, Solomon Ayambila, Dauda Abanga, and Alima Salifu believe the support came just in time to help them.
Most of them say they did not have any help, so receiving rice and cash is a wonderful intervention.
According to Madam Atongi, the foundation will not stop assisting the most disadvantaged members of society.
"Our goal is to assist underserved special groups, such as women, youth, and people with special needs, because they have a right to a better life."
