Hundreds of Gospel lovers throng the Achimota retail centre to worship with one of their own, Akesse Brempong, at the 5th edition of the annual Agape Carnival.
The event under the theme ‘The love of God’ saw patrons being treated to great reggae/afropop fusions of Gospel songs from singer Akesse Brempong.

The reggae /Afropop Gospel may be new to some people on the Ghanaian music scene but with Gospel lovers at the carnival enjoying every bit of it, the genre is catching up quickly like wildfire.
Akesse Brempong for a long time kept defying all odds to keep the genre of gospel music going and now the youth can’t get enough!

Over the weekend Akesse was joined by some friends in the industry including Efe Grace, Minister Paulo and Koda and others for the carnival.

According to some patrons this event is highly commendable and must be supported.

The maiden event which was held at the West Hills Mall in 2015 and 2016, Kumasi City Mall in 2017 and in Jamestown last year, was powered by the Akesse Brempong Ministeries and supported by Upswing Music, Genet Services, God’s Family Music Ministries, DDP, iSee Works, and Ghud Music.
