Director of the tournament, Gabriel Amoako spoke on the importance of the tournament to JoySports.
‘’It’s not about winning the tournament, it’s about participating in the tournament. Then Sadia Mayo (The CEO) will pave the way for you to get opportunities to speak with coaches in the USA and get admission into colleges. Last year what we gave the winner was SAT money for the player to register for SAT."

He also added that, Ghana was the best place to host the tennis event.
“Sadia chose Ghana because we have good conducive environment to host tournaments. Ghana is a place where you can easily go out any day any time compared to other countries. We are friendly, we are open to most nationals.”
