Twenty-six organisations including media houses and Civil Society groups have secured approximately GH¢9 million to implement various election-related projects.
This is to promote active citizenship for a credible, peaceful and inclusive election 2020.
The projects cover key thematic areas including vigilantism, corruption and inclusiveness. This came to light at the launch of the Star Ghana Election 2020 Projects and the signing of the grant documents in Accra.
Out of the over 100 organisations who applied for the grant to enable them to run election-related projects, only 26 made it out of the lot.
