Unconfirmed reports suggest that about five Police recruits died this morning when a BMW saloon car rammed into them while on a routine morning exercise session.The incident occurred in the Eastern Regional capital town of Koforidua.The incident occurred when a contingent of 120 police recruits who were jogging as part of police training were ran into by a speeding BMW vehicle with registration number, GW 561.According to Citi News’ Eastern Regional correspondent, Kwame Appiah-Kubi, the victims have been transferred to the Koforidua Government hospital for treatment.The Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Victor Smith and the Regional Police Commander, DCOP Gyamera Yeboah are currently at the hospital to appraise themselves of the situation.
