A 50 year old woman, Paulina Ennin has been promoted to class five at Weweso Primary school in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
Paulina Ennin excelled in her end-of-year exams which saw her promoted from class four to five.
Speaking to Adakabre Frimpong Manso on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem Tuesday Paulina said she is determined to study and become one of the best students in the school.
Despite being the oldest person in her class, Paulina Ennin, according to her teachers, conducts herself well in class and treats her classmates, some of whom are young enough to be her grandchildren, with deference.
She advised parents to take good care of their children to make them responsible citizens in the future.
The Headmistress of Weweso Primary School, Margaret Bertha Mmieh told the host of the show that Paulina had improved tremendously in her academic work.
She noted that the class five pupil has two of her children in the same school, one of whom is in the Senior High School.
