Eurostar Global Limousine Limited, a global luxury car rental company, has unveiled a range of first-class luxury cars to provide world-class car rental services in Ghana.
Managers of the company say the range of luxurious cars were carefully selected to meet Ghana’s reputation as the destination for global business and a beacon for peace and stability in Africa.
At a short ceremony to showcase the vehicles to journalists, the Group Chairman of Eurostar, Africa Operations, Mr. Oscar Yao Doe, said the company’s desire was to make a bold statement that Ghana’s story was not just one of hunger and deprivation and diseases but of enduring hope and vision and unparalleled hospitality.
The service, according to him, was to enhance Ghana’s credentials as stable country governed by the rule of law and where businesses can thrive. It was also to boost the country’s tourism potential.
They mainly do airport pickup and airport drop off for foreign dignitaries including foreign mission officials and officials of multinational organizations.
Mr. Doe said people who worked extremely hard deserved a pamper when they take time off to rest or when they undertake milestone ceremonial activities such as weddings, playing host to important guests and so on. “With this service, Ghana can host any VIP or any eminent personalities; they don’t need to fly their own stately cars into Ghana when they visit the country,” he explained.
Apart from that, given that Ghana has become an attractive centre for global commercial activities, important business leaders flocking to the country to explore business opportunities ought to be given the assurance that they can get the royal treat they are used to.
“In Europe and America, people are used to this kind of service. When they see it; they know it; they know the value; and they want to associate with it. So we want to assure them that if they leave their countries and come to Ghana, we will give them a service equal to what they have back home,” Mr. Doe said.
