There are chaotic scenes in Tamale where fuel has been in short supply for days.
Joy News correspondent Martina Bugri says residents have had to sleep over at filling stations just so they can have access to fuel anytime it is supplied.
Tanker drivers in the area are in conflict with the Buipe Bulk supply unit over the right form of measurement for each tanker of fuel supplied and how much it should cost.
The disagreement has led to the shortage of fuel in the area.
Martina Bugri said businesses have grounded to a halt in Tamale.
Taxis have parked and so too have motor bikes, which are the dominant mode of transportation in the Municipality.
A gallon of premium which ought to be selling at the hiked price of ¢9.20 is going for 15.00 cedis, Bugri stated.
It is not clear when the problem will be solved
