Finance Minister, Seth Terkper has said the 2013 Budget will focus on massive infrastructure development, stabilizing economy and accelerating growth.
He said the financial statement would also look at how to ensure that the private sector plays a critical role in the economy.
Speaking to Joy Business, the minister said whilst they pursue the specific targets outlined above they will implement programs to diversify the economy and add value of the country's oil find.
He said the private sector would be placed at the centre of government's programs and projects.
He added the Budget will also institute programs to reduce government's deficit significantly.
The 2013 Budget will be presented to Parliament by end of February or first week in March.
Government last year spent a little over 21 billion Ghana cedis, however with plans to embark on a massive infrastructure development the figure would go up substantially.
