Domestic flights are expected to resume Friday at the Kotoka International Airport after being grounded because aircrafts couldn’t refuel.
On Thursday, intermittent power surges led to the malfunctioning of a fuel farm at the domestic section of the airport.
A generator which is independently operated by the fuel farm could not pick up when supply from the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) went off.
This did not allow some domestic flights to fly late yesterday.
Head of Public Relations at the Kotoka International Aiport Adwoa Sono Boatemaa told Joy News the problem was fixed within an hour.
A Commercial officer at Antrak Air, Kwaku Antwi Boasiako also told Joy News they have resumed work this morning.
"All flights will be operating this morning..." Boasiako stated.
