The Electoral Commission (EC) has commenced the replacement of missing or defaced ID cards, a statement from the Commission said.
According to the EC, any person who wishes to replace their card is required to pay a fee of GHS5 at any branch of GCB bank across the country.
“Applicants are required to submit a receipt of payment to the District Office of the Commission where the applicant is registered, for issuance of a new ID card,” the statement added.
