The Black Stars leave a departing message for Ghana's diplomatic mission in Ethiopia, their gratitude for the wonderful reception and support during their stay to prepare for Friday's 2014 World Cup qualifier against Sudan.
Ghana will leave Ethiopia on Wednesday night for Sudan.
The Black Stars have enjoyed great reception since touching down in Addis Ababa last Thursday and one special person, who ensured the team's smooth stay has been H.E Albert Yankey, the Ghanaian Ambassador to Ethiopia.
H.E. Yankey has been personally involved in ensuring that the Black Stars have been comfortable during their training camp but for the Ambassador, it's their contribution to ensure Ghana's success.
"More importantly, it's[reception] our way of signalling to the players that we are all very, very interested on what they are going to face and we want them to win and we want them to go to the World Cup and then bring glory to Ghana. That is what it is all about, it's a pleasure having you[team] around," H.E. Yankey said.
"We are all very, very anxious to see the Black Stars go through the qualifying series. We see this faces on TV and read about them but this personally encounter was very special for us."
