Inter Allies stayed on top of the Zone III Division One League promotional play-off after beating Okwahu United 2-0 on Wednesday in Kumasi.
The Accra-based club sealed the commanding win in the game which saw ex Hearts of Oak defender Dan Coleman sent off at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Danbort FC also beat Nania FC 2-0 in the other playoff game played at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
This means Abedi Pele team’s hopes of winning Premier League promotion this term has been crashed following their opening day defeat to Inter Allies.
Danbort will now go head to head with Inter Allies on the final day of matches to determine which team picks the sole promotion slot for Zone Three.
Inter Allies now only have to avoid defeat in the final game against Danbort to secure their first ever promotion to the Ghanaian top flight.
