Six fans have been handed prison sentences for racially abusing Milan players during a January friendly at Pro Patria.The men will be imprisoned for between 40 days and two months after the match was abandoned in the first half.Tired of the racist chants coming from a section of the crowd, Kevin Prince Boateng picked up the ball, blasted it into the stands with frustration and walked off the pitch. His teammates followed.Boateng, M’Baye Niang and Sulley Muntari were the targets of the abuse. The first two players gave evidence in the case, while Muntari’s decision to not show up in court has cost him a fine of €500.The public prosecutor in Busto Arsizio had called for prison sentences of between four and six months.
