Silver Star Auto Limited (SSAL) on Thursday launched its latest edition of the E-Class 2013, Mercedes Benz car onto the Ghanaian market at a ceremony in Accra.
Mr Nouhad Kalmoni, Chief Executive Officer of SSAL, said the latest edition of the luxury saloon car is available in two front and end design models.
He said restyling of the headlamps is a prominent feature of the new external design of the car.
“The four-eyed headlamp is now replaced, though not completely, by a one-piece design which houses all lighting functions,” he said.
The vehicle is said to be made up of Light-Emitting-Diode lights to retain the “four eye” look. Its width is enhanced by a wider rear bumper and longitudinally subdivided tail lights. The interior decoration of the new E-class has been upgraded with new appointments and a new three-tube instrument cluster.
The saloon car is also said to be equipped with collision prevention assistance safety device which gives visual warning to prevent rear-end collision; a stereoscopic degree camera to prevent collisions during parking or slow manoeuvring; a driving assistance package to keep the driver active, awake and to help him or her stay safely in the lane.
