Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien insists he does not mind where he plays for the Blues under manager Jose Mourinho.
Essien will return to Stamford Bridge this season following a hugely successful season-long loan spell under Mourinho at Real Madrid.
The versatile Ghanaian played both at right-back and in his familiar defensive midfield position at the Bernebeu and was one of Los Blancos' most consistent players last season.
And the former Lyon man says he is prepared to fulfil whatever role the club needs him to, as he looks to translate his successes in La Liga back to the Premier League.
"I don't mind playing anywhere for Chelsea under Jose Mourinho," the 30-year-old told Goal.com.
"I am always positive and I will work hard and make myself always available for him.
"Where I play doesn't matter just put me on the pitch and I will do the business for the club. I don't have much to prove. I have done it all, so I just go out there, work hard and win games."
