Medeama Vice chairman Albert Commey has thanked chief of Wassa Fiase area Osagyefo Dr. Kwamena Enimil for rewarding the team after winning this season's MTN FA Cup trophy.
Osagyefo Dr. Kwamena Enimil gave the team 50 plots of land and a cash reward of 2000 Ghana cedis last Thursday when the team paid a courtesy call to his palace.
''The chief was very happy with our performance in the FA Cup and taking the trophy back to his land triggered him to do something for us,'' said Albert Commey in an interview with Joy sports
''We are grateful to him and already plans are underway to put the land in good use, we want to have an astro-turf and other facilities so we see this as an opportunity to cash in so we are very happy.''
Medeama SC defeated Asante Kotoko in this year's FA Cup to clinch their first ever title since joining the premier league three seasons ago.
