Black Satellites striker Kennedy Ashia has aspirations of playing in one of Europe’s top leagues, the Spanish Primera La Liga as he builds on his very young career.The young striker who was instrumental in Ghana’s 3rd place feat at the just ended FIFA U20 world cup in turkey told joy sports of his reasons for wanting to join the La Liga; saying that not only does he adore Spanish football, his role model plays in that league and it is his dream to follow in his footsteps“The way they play the La Liga is very exciting and my role model is Xavi. I love the way he plays and I always watch him so I learn a lot from him. I’ll love to play in the la liga”Rising star Ashia has also confirmed to joy sports that following his impressive performance at the u20 world cup, many clubs have approached him. He however has not negotiated with any of these clubs pending a meeting with his recent club chairman at Ghana-based side liberty professionals.“After the world cup many agents have spoken to me. But I have to see my club chairman because I can’t negotiate any deal without permission. The teams have to come to the club office first to talk to my club”
