Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur returned home on Monday after attending the inauguration of Dr Hassan Rouhani in Tehran as the President of Iran.
Before flyning back to Accra, the Vice President also met with the Speaker of the Parliament of Iran, Ali Larijani.
The two discussed issues of mutual interest for both countries, including the economy, technical assistance in the area of oil and gas as well as encouraging more Iranian investors to take advantage of the prevailing stable political environment in Ghana.
Later, Mr Amissah-Arthur also held talks with the Iranian Vice President, Eshaq Jahangiri, with investment and closer collaboration dominating the discussion.
