The family of 13-year-old Elizabeth Nyarko, who was found dead at her parent’s residence at Shiabu, a suburb of Dansoman in Accra, is calling on Police to fast track investigations into the incident.
The family is casting doubts on the initial suspicion by the Dansoman Police that the girl might have committed suicide.
13 year-old was found dead by her mother on Tuesday August 6 in their room and since then the community has been thrown into a state of shock.
A family member who spoke to Joy News said a cloth which Poice allege was used by the girl to tie her neck is not strong enough to hold her weight - refuting claims of suicide.
Although are still conducting investigations into gruesome incident, the family is asking them to expedite the process.
