It has come to our notice that our story of August 7, 2013 in which we reported law lecturer Ernest Kofi Abotsi, as saying that President John Dramani Mahama would be deemed not to have elected president if the Supreme Court sitting on the Presidential election petition upholds the argument of the petitioners, did not entirely capture his views in the context in which he expressed them.To that extent, we deeply regret any embarrassment and inconvenience the said publication might have caused him personally and our readers generally. We unreservedly apologise to him for the inadvertent inaccurate representations contained in the publication.By Editor,Malik Abass Daabu
