Gyan fit to play against Zambia

Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has begun light training with the team in Kumasi, ahead of the crucial world cup qualifier against Zambia Friday. He had gone through an MRI scan which proved that an injury he picked up during training on Monday is not as serious as initially feared. Meanwhile, Minister of Youth and Sports, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah visited the Black Stars camp to urge the players to lift the flag of Ghana high by beating Zambia resoundingly. Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu is also scheduled to pay a visit to the team later Wednesday.
