Sulley Ali Muntari sees a “more mature Kaka” bringing fresh enthusiasm as Milan prepare for their trip to Torino.
In today’s game between ranks, Alessandro Matri scored three goals all set up for him by Kaka, so the late summer signings are already starting to gel.
“Kaka is more mature now and I am sure he’ll give us a big hand,” Muntari told Milan Channel.
“He is one of the best trequartisti in the world and is able to create space for us to push up from midfield.
“We are a great group of players with many youngsters, but also a good selection of the old guard like Daniele Bonera, Christian Abbiati and Nigel De Jong to help strengthen the squad.
“My job and that of Nigel is to act as a filter, so before reaching the goal our opponents have to get through us first. It’s an important role, which is why fitness levels always have to be 100 per cent.”
Milan resume their Serie A duties on Saturday evening, as they visit Torino at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).
“We are going to Turin in order to get the victory, though we know it won’t be easy.”
