Assembly members in the Kaleo-Nadowli district in the Upper West region have confirm John Boscos Bomansaan as the District Chief Executive for the area.
He polled 39 votes out of the 48 total votes in the elections held in Nadowli and supervised by the acting Upper West regional Director of the Electoral Commission, Ali Daud.
Boscos Bomansaan until his appointment was the Kaleo-Nadowli District Director for non formal education division of the Ghana Education Service.
The DCE-elect, a teacher by profession thanked President John Mahama and assembly members for the confidence reposed in him.
He pledged to work assiduously to unite the assembly for the development of the district.
Also, the Upper West Regional Minister, Dr. Ephraim Avea Nosh thanked the assembly members for confirming the president's nominee.
He advised John Boscos Bomansaan to work to unite the assembly.
"People vote against you based on certain reasons and that is the tenet that makes democracy beautiful. So don't begrudge them if they vote against you because it is normal to have people dissenting", he added.
Present to grace the occasion were the Secretary to the Cabinet, Roger Ansongmwine and Member of Parliament for the constituency, Alban Sumaana Kingsford Bagbin.
