Best selling author and internationally acclaimed motivational speaker, Emmanuel Dei-Tumi has launched two life transformational books in Accra.
The books - Success is more than luck and Talent creates your world - are to serve as guide for wealth creation most especially among the youth.
'Success is more than luck' is anchored on the four major principles for turning simple ideas into extraordinary success.
It also throws more light on what success is and is not, and redefines what luck is and how both can be combined to progress in life.
In 'Talent creates your world', Mr. Dei-Tumi advocates that we build a career driven not by income but through a discovery of ourselves and our mission in life.
He outlines the five important questions as a guide to discovering yourself and establishing whether you are a square peg in a round hole or vice versa. 'Talent creates your world' also gives a guide for discovering your unique talents and gifts.
Both books which are inspirational, philosophical and practical in their outlook are a must read for everyone who is aspiring to be successful in life.
Mr. Dei-Tumi, founder of Foundation for Future Leader’s International, a non- governmental organization has successfully authored four books including a French grammar book and has produced several audio tapes, DVDs and CDs on various topics.
His highly acclaimed and successful books are, 'Unraveling the Secrets to Wealth Creation', 'What I wish I Knew Before the Age of Twenty' and 'Customer Service is Attitude Not a Department'.
The award winning motivational speaker was in 2005 the proud winner of The Millennium Excellence Award for the Inspirational and Motivation category in honour of his efforts at motivating people to rise above their limitations and soar to new heights in their personal life, careers and businesses.
Emmanuel Dei-Tumi’s expertise covers leadership in development, social intervention programmes, entrepreneurship development, strategic and transformative leadership development and attitudinal change.
Launching the book, Justice Gertrude Torkonoo, Justice of the Court of Appeal underscored the need for the nation to properly define success, separating the most important things from the less important in the quest to achieve the feat.
She noted that books are one of the powerful tools, which shape aspirations, values, beliefs, principles and behaviours.
“I agree with Mr. Dei-Tumi in his quest to communicate the version of the Ghanaian dream and success mode that is a necessary act of leadership,” she added.
On his part, Chairman of National Development Planning Commission, Paul Victor Obeng who reviewed the book recommended it to everyone who wants to contribute to national development.
According to him, there is no nation that has prospered without the citizens making contribution to the development agenda because “national success is a product and an amalgamation of individual success”.
“I find the book easy to read and understandable. It is not voluminous so it will not scare lazy readers like me,” he stated.
P.V Obeng likened the two books to a skillfully woven kente cloth and urged the youth to make it their lifetime guide to succeed.
Mr. Dei-Tumi expressed his profound appreciation to all those who supported to him to make the publication of the book a success.
He said success does not happen by chance and like all life’s laws, there is a correlation between effort and reward, cause and effect.
As a youth development coach, Mr. Dei-Tumi promised to donate a thousand copies of the books to all Senior High Schools nationwide.
